Blitzen’s costume, front and back. Don’t be afraid of sewing. I do not know how to sew. The only other thing I’ve sewed in my life was Jack’s suit for that Halloween prop. I didn’t use a pattern or a machine. As long as it doesn’t matter how it’s sewn together, just do it (meaning, it’s not sewed together in any proper sort of way.) The bow tie is safety pinned on because for some reason I wanted to be able to remove it since I took buttons off of one of my shirts to be used down the front of the chest there. (I know that doesn’t make any sense.) The jacket closes on top of Blitzen with velcro. I spent an hour in JoAnn fabric finding a tweed pattern I was happy with. The fabric for the bowtie and fez were in JoAnn’s “remnant” section.

(I’m just trying to pretend that there’s other people out there that would possibly consider dressing their dogs up as Doctor Who. There is, isn’t there? Heh. )
